What does this even mean, Podiatrists can help help with what???? ICU drugs, intubation? JFC none of our skills and knowledge are going to help treat COVID. Am I living in a parallel universe. Because of Coronavirus Podiatrists should now treat knee injuries???? What the hell does that even mean? The orthopedists are not being overwhelmed, trust me. This statement is so generic its absurd. Podiatrists are not qualified to treat COVID.
Just because you did a one month general Medicine rotation does not mean you are an internist. They do this for three freaking years. You don’t get to become one after one month. This is insane. Does anybody at the APMA have an IQ above 20? Does anybody think this helps anything?

Hey, I apologize for being a blog hog but so many things need to be addressed that podiatry has failed to address. I was just thinking….if the Quack Schools and the APMA had made any efforts to demonstrate a direction toward training wtfs in a plenary license way, wouldn’t this pandemic have been an opportunity to show a need for full providers and have been the grease to help podiatry evolve? And, just like Barry Block, there is a MOTIVE OF MONEY AND SELF PRESERVATION.
