Well it looks like the letter by Dr. Pressman put a big fat cow pie over the face of Barry Block. Talk about a lack of fact checking. This guy, Dr. Pressman, writes a letter showing that the entire study and interpretation of the study by Alan Sherman was a fraud.
This is no surprise of course. We have Presents whose headliners include Lee Rodgers, Harold Schoenhause, Michael Shore and Stanley Kalish.
Previously Robert Frykberg was also involved but the feds kind of moved in and took care of him.
Another one of their “practice perfect” good fellas tried to kill his wife (you are not allowed to do that).
Of course the feds also disciplined Presents for their habit of giving away free things like tuition and rooms in exchange for coming to their meetings.
Apparently federal employees were not supposed to do that.
Back to the main issue that Dr. Pressman raises. We all know that Presents and Alan Sherman are Barry Block favorites. Kind of like Mr. Peabody and Sherman.
They are heavy advertisers in his online as well as printed magazines. They put lots of money into the pocket of the little barrister.
No fact checking occurred in this matter. Alan Sherman claims that his study showed a whole gaggle and google of podiatrists who want to be primary care physicians when they finish their surgical residency. All of this was of course willful misinterpretation and bull shit.
Barry Block did not check any of the numbers nor did he check the validity of the study. He just throws it out there because these people advertise with him and anything they say is OK with him. Fortunately Dr. Pressman saw through this scam. This is just one more example of the lack of reliability of Podiatry Management when it comes to advertisers like Presents. Every time Presents holds a meeting we see a photograph with bullshit headlines such as “record attendance” or “attendees rate meeting as best ever” and on and on and on. Well this is not surprising. It is this profession. PM is but a microcosm of money first podiatry. Just go to a FABI or AAPPM meeting for reinforcement.
So long as you pay Barry Block you could be scam artist number one and it does not matter. He will support you. As for Dr. Sherman, you have never had credibility other than with fellow losers with whom you congregate. No surgeons in that crowd. You do nothing more than sell postgraduate education and try to create a false scene in which people are led to believe that you actually care about education and the future of this profession. Your consultants and leaders are testimony to the type of people that you associate with.
Thank you Dr. Pressman. You have perhaps inadvertently further exposed Alan Sherman for what we all know he is. As for Barry, you are looking more and more like Joe Biden every day. Editor ? Hardly ! Perhaps a mini-mental is needed here. Well for most of us it’s turn the other cheek. For podiatry it’s turn the other wallet. Fraud is the willful act (sometimes criminal) of deception for the purpose of financial gain. Now let’s see. Who fits that mold ……………
