Are you referring to the TAYCO external AFO ? My colleague here, Patrick DeHeer got Dr. Kesselman a consulting job with the owner of this company. I’ve heard that TAYCO is looking to hire for a lot of positions. They are looking to keep the company afloat.
If anyone on this site has any more info, it would be much appreciated. I personally never used the TAYCO brace because it looks kind of clumsy.

I just dug a little deeper and did some research. The own of this brace company (TAYCO) is a retired orthopedic surgeon. Did some reading about him. His name is Fred Ferlic, MD. A retired elder gentleman from the old school of orthopedics. A general orthopedist that never did a fellowship.
Back in the day you didn’t need a fellowship and even today some don’t bother with board certification: Rand Paul MD ophthalmologist ring a bell? I don’t follow his politics on account I’m a political agnostic and there’s that–Politicians are like wingless birds that make funny sounds that make no sense.
