Where is the CPME ?
In podiatry, CME credits are now regularly handed out by corporations, essentially marketing and advertising.
BAKO and their CME provider are one example. They give out free CME (3 hours) for a meeting whose topics just happen to be on products and services they provide.
CME Online offers lectures on bracing sponsored by a brace company. That is the TAYCO brace retiredold naive orthopod paying podiatry’s useless DME work group phony Paul Kesselman.
And of course we have Lehrman, Moore, Garafoulis selling wound care products as CME.
ASPS features one corporate sponsored lecture after the other.
PRESENTS lives off of corporate sponsorships.
ACPME (ie. Robert Marcus) even has a CPME member (ie. David George) looking the other way while they offer corporate commercials.
Where is the CPME ? Useless. Like the rest of podiatry
On the website “QUORA” someone asked what are the pros and cons of being a foot technician? Of course, the LIFERS spewed the usual, limb salvage, complex surgeries, home early etc. distortions.
