The End of the Normal Foot and Bad Mexican Food

The End of the Normal Foot
                  and
BAD MEXICAN FOOD ! !

It is one thing to listen to Dr. Louis DeCaro babble away at a Podiatry seminar.  It is frightening however to realize:

1.  This danger to children (and humans of any age) might actually believe what he says.
2.  This purveyor of no-fact based lunacy is fully endorsed and supported by the APMA.
3.  People outside of Podiatry might hear this insanity and greed based illogic and believe this is somehow podiatry standard practice.

Have any of you listened to this man dribble words (I will not dignify his anal-oral output as a lecture) like your back side after a bad Mexican meal ?

From the oral sphincter of Dr. DeCaro
(Hey Barry, you can’t make these things up) as follows:

Everyone, and he means everyone, needs an orthotic.  Everyone !

Orthotics would put orthopedic surgeons out of work.   That’s correct.  Wear orthotics and prevent arthritis of the hips, knees, back (yes you’ve heard this before as in Hyprocure implants).

The best thing about kids ?   They grow, so every year you sell them new orthotics.  Well that beats Hyprocure implants.  You only get two surgeries per foot with them (one to put them in, one to take them out).

You examine the parents and tell them that’s where the kid got his/her feet.  A little guilt and sales guile necessary here.   And you sell the parents orthotics.  But, as noted by Dr. DeCaro, you have to wait with adults until their orthotics need replacement.

There is no normal foot.  Everyone needs one of 6 types of orthotics as everyone has an abnormal foot.   Too bad he can’t put them on a child in utero or on a corpse for better walking in the afterlife.  He would if he could.

Predictably, he’s now hanging with the TALAR Capital Partners group.   And in tight with the APMA executive director.

Well, the nice thing about his ravings is that you are unencumbered by things such as references, facts, science, ethical behavior and common sense.

My suggestion.  When he lectures, lock the doors so no one other that podiatrists can listen.  Everyone attending signs an agreement never to discuss what was just heard with real doctors, nurses, or people with an IQ above 75.

Yep.  Like the bowl splatter after a bad meal, you’ve got to clean the stink out of the room when this guy is done.
