Here is the article I pass this along as it will allow Podiatrists to bill Medicare for Telemedicine with patients easier.

If this is something you are interested in, this article explains the ins and outs of billing Telemedicine.

Telemedicine is pretty cool. Easy bank. You can sit in your underwear and put on a shirt and tie. I signed up for one company then another, and got the wackiest shit while watching reruns of Andy of Mayberry. I suppose the MD shit helped, but there are plenty of pods—I rapped with one or two—and they do better financially with the zero overhead—Telehealth is, in the age of CORONA the zone—There are a few hassles, like setting up a PayPal sort of thing, and direct deposit, and you just do it when you feel like it—THEY PAY your malpractice… Read more »
Eddy- Now that I have some time to kill, would you shoot me some info? gladavotich@gmail.com Thanks!
Greg, there are dozens of them, but many don’t take pods—I’ll do some research and find those who do, and email you -I’m on it.
Agreed–Eddy, many do not want podiatrists only MD specialities. What do you suggest that is practical and reasonable?

AUTONOMIC NOT AUTOMOMIC!
SHOE LOVER BARRY BLOCK tells us a PODIATRIC (apprentice) came down with a virus. A DOCTOR told him to stay home. He won’t be missed. During this crisis another drop out podiatrist (like Barry Block) is SELLING A BOOK ON HOW TO GET MONEY FROM AN INSURANCE COMPANY. Despite him “doing a program” (very rare for that time period, early 70’s) and a “fellowship” in derm and vascular?!!) he dropped out and went to LAW school. I guess writing and suing was more PROFITABLE FOR DAVEY MULLEN WTF, JD. The MONEY must have mattered more than MEDICINE! Podiatrist Simmons has… Read more »

Mr Whytrash please let me see your feet. Mmm ok uhhuh, ok. It looks like abducto quinti varus or curvy 5th toe. This is serious. Let’s schedule the surgery tomorrow.
TELE-podiatry?! Then why not pay for Tele-psychics? I see a 1 degree varus compensating with pronation causing the medial band of your fascia to be stretched. The GOVERNMENT HAS CLOSED MY FOOT FIXING BUSINESS DUE TO HYDROTHERAPY AND DEAD SKIN DEBRIS CONTAMINATION, but the GOOD FEET STORE has been designated a CRITICAL industry with results as good or better than a PODIATRIST. Podiatrists will be asking HOW TO CODE for watching the “my feet are killing me” propaganda show as a CME seminar.
“Yes Mrs. Jones, cut them straight across. You say you can’t see your feet because your stomach is in the way? Have your husband hold up your leg. Yes, you’re welcome.” Let’s see- 99444, phone call x 20 min, $125.00.
