Robert is wrong ! You cannot get a pedicure for $35. Pedicurists get much more money than that.
That is why southeast Asians become pedicurists not podiatrists. More money is paid to the former.
Not only does the latter get paid less, but there is paperwork, payment delays, fear of Medicare retribution.
Pedicurist = Cash.
Of course podiatrists do have lasers and can hustle another $20 for nail creams, lotions, and potions.
And pedicurists do not get to clip a nail, bill for a biopsy, and order a $1,200 genetic test that confirms a fungus.
A fungus for which the podiatrist will do nothing effective anyway. I’ll bet old Jimmy Christina misses the old snap and crunch of daily fungus toenails.
Of course nails ain’t all that bad. Look where it got King, Garafoulis, Krause, and Frisch.
It got them a job as APMA head honcho with an annual salary of greater than $150,000, not counting travel and entertainment.
$150,000+ to be the APMA toenail king. That’s a lot of toenails.
And a lot of your dues money. Not counting the travel and entertainment.
Painful ambulation anyone ? Class findings ? Class findings for a profession in which you will find no class.
