Office of Public Affairs | Modernizing Medicine Agrees to Pay $45 Million to Resolve Allegations of Accepting and Paying Illegal Kickbacks and Causing False Claims | United States Department of Justice
Now correct me if I’m wrong. Dr. John Guiliana is the Director of Podiatry for Modernizing Medicine. Dr. Sharon Monter is the Senior Customer Success Manager for Podiatry at ModMed. Is any of this a surprise ? Well ModMed knows how to pick’em don’t they ? Try to find anyone using ModMed who is happy with this EHR. You will not. It is hands down the worst EHR in existence.
Does anyone know why Dr. Barry Block (the big time ethical attorney) cough cough cough ………..NEVER reported this $45. million settlement in PM News ?Dr. Block would NEVER intentionally forget to print this news in PM, would he ?
Oh wait a minute ………………. I believe Dr. Block gets advertising dollars from Modernizing Medicine.Of course he intentionally forgot to tell his readers about this $45 million settlement to resolve allegations for kickbacks and causing false claims.
Mister (big time ethical attorney) cough cough cough.

Many yrs ago Paul Fussell and Ronald Dworkin wrote (separately) that there wasn’t a single institution in America that was not coated w/fraud.
Respected writers. 20 or so yrs later, we would have to say: not coated w/fraud; *wallowing* in it.
Explains alot about podiatry
Ya know, I really HATE PODIATY AS IT IS BEING RUN. The flim flam lying crooks and misrepresentations continue making this a dirty profession. Look at the “diverse” field of pod students at the APMA convention smiling broadly. Yeah, TALAR MEDICAL gave 50 grand for scholarship(s). They said they’re funding MULTIPLE scholarships. For only 50 grand? What? a lousy thousand for 50 or one for 50? Their cozy relationship with podiatry profits isn’t reflected with such a small sum. The recipient of the scholarship is already a goner to reality. SHE says, the scholarship will pay “FOR HER MEDICAL DEGREE”..… Read more »
How cheap, misers. 50k won’t do Jack shit for the massive tuitions and fees
Podiatry is not dropped in Canada, Robert. In certain places, it’s back to the Stone Ages. But, it’s not been dropped. What is your point in pointing out the visible minority in Podiatric medicine?
Don’t have a clue what you mean by “visible minority”. (explain) I’m pretty sure I read that Canada wasn’t licensing “podiatry” but only Chiropody. I believe it was within the last 4-6 wks that there was an article in Block’s PM. If you mean back to Stone Ages as Chiropody then I agree and that’s my point. ( I believe they have a Chiropody board which is different than a Podiatry board) If I can find the article I’ll reference it. The point is, Podiatry has gone backward instead of forward indicating that the legislatures and MD’s just don’t give… Read more »
I think you know exactly what I mean about pointing out minorities in Podiatry. You do that, for example, “A minority girl got an award but look at her brain washing already.” Secondly, ” diverse field of Pod students”. I just want to know why you comment on their minority status, that’s all. There are plenty of minorities, especially of Indian and Pakistani descent, in Podiatry now way more than when I started. I don’t agree with Amol’s contention about discrimination. I think it’s more discrimination in terms of being a Podee than in being a visible minority. As for… Read more »
Whenever I visit Ontario, it burns me to see chiropody clinics all over the place and their assumption that they are equal to our training. But, nobody cares in Ontario!
Why would it burn you Jeff? Chiropody has been around and NEEDED waaay before podiatry. How do you think the U.S. MD’s feel about NON MD PODIATRISTS claiming “limb salvage”, “just like”, “the best surgeons of the foot” and we know biomechquactics?
CANADA doesn’t even recognize D.O. osteopaths. I guess they want to keep their medicine clear and pure like their wilderness.
It bothers me as it should bother you, Robert, because the potential of what we all could and should be has now regressed in Canada and stagnated in the US. I love what I do but I don’t like the restrictions and the stigma and the labeling that comes with being a Pod. Will it ever change? Not in our lifetime.
Yes sure, Seth. He is ethical….MY ASS. He is a disgrace. I can’t even cough. I can only vomit he is so unethical.
Vomiting in my mouth from that POS
