ACGME .lol, Podiatry will NEVER allow us to join them. The residency programs for podiatry can be rated the following way. A+ the programs that are structured like MD and DO residencies. C they do some things correctly F the programs is not well organized, you have your Podiatry /wound care clinic. most of the time your hunting for surgical cases throughout the hospital, you have to do a research project (?) lol, why? you need to get your case volume in anyway you can. Results: A + programs: 10% C programs : 40% F programs: 50% Case closed ..The… Read more »

RE: AGME REJECTION. Once again we see MORE EVIDENCE that podiatry IS RUN BY A CULT OF DIRTY INSECURE SELFISH MEDICAL SCHOOL REJECTS who are PSYCHOLOGICALLY UNABLE to accept their inferior status, even to the point that when given a chance to get a “boot up” they refuse because that would PROVE THEY WERE ONCE REJECTED. Again, the ONLY RECOURSE for podiatry to get into the mainstream is to OUST THESE TYPES of personalities BY REFUSING TO PAY APMA DUES UNTIL LEADERS ARE APPOINTED (elections are rigged) who think and agree as the majority of the profession does. Are you… Read more »

Can you believe there are about 12% of the foot technicians who are against or are unsure if the APMA should talk to the MD’s about ACGME?! With something so obvious, it seems to me that 12% is still a large number. I would think 99% would be more realistic if podiatry wanted to become a truly equal profession. When it comes down to it, either podiatrists are afraid of the increased scrutiny and/or can’t abide losing control meaning insecure egos are involved. I think those who post Halloween or Shofar shaped shoes are the fly in the ointment. Dirty… Read more »

More signs of a dirty profession. Tomczak goes on and on (as usual) basically saying “DIRTY DICTATORS” ARE INTERFERRING WITH PODIATRY’S EVOLUTION. He cites surveys saying that 88% of pods WANT A FULL LICENSE. This has been the case since my days (graduated ’76). The old, “you’ll have your MD (ie. full license) in 10 years LIE. In 2025 the dirty controlling APMA AND CPME CULT refuse to talk to the ACGME because, as Tomczak surmises, we are hiding something (yeah, arch support Mc Quactics is quack) and our clinicians are LESS INFORMED THAN P.A.’s, and we have INSECURE PODOPOLITIICANS.… Read more »

Yeah, “Bytes”. Shoe association and arch support sales are the shystery vestiges of podiatry’s NYC founding. Podiatry, like Optometry, was started as a nice little business for cultists that were a family embarrassment because of their medical school rejection. I just attended the MANDANTORY CME seminar and the distinction between the MD speakers (the few they allowed in) and the wtf speakers was so obvious. You knew something was different between them. Appearance? Demeanor? Language Skills? Confidence? All the above? I’m not sure, but I knew who the MD’s were. Local pods were all excited because they may be allowed… Read more »
10/08/2025 George R Vito, DPM Charcot Reconstruction Articles Should Have Good Long-Term (Steven Kravitz, DPM) Follow-Up ( I think the profession of foot and ankle surgeons has learned a lot over the past 30 years in reference to Charcot reconstruction. I was with Dr. McGlamry and Banks when we first started performing reconstructions with a two-team approach; the surgery lasted 8 hours. With Dr. McGlamry taking the first four-hour shift, with Dr. Banks on the second 4-hour shift. Needless to say, this may of not been the best approach, but then again, who knew what the best approach was. Then… Read more »

Podiatrists jumped on the Charcot train because of INSECURITY! They thought they could look “just like a real Dr” and “save limbs”. Like so much of podiatry fads come and go and the Charcot fad is on its way out. You need to realize they are more of an EGO SATISFIERs for the tech than a cure for the patient. Of course Charcot is dynamic. Who didn’t know that? Why are you surprised it fails so often. Even a foot school graduate should know that! So, what’s the surprise. Recall that Mc Glammary learned FROM MD’S in the military. Many… Read more »

Let’s not be distracted from the SCANDAL that the APMA (in order to protect itself) has REFUSED TO TALK TO THE MD’S re: ACGME and podiatric residencies. THIS IS A SCANDAL. THE APMA IS NOT DOING WHAT’S BEST FOR PODIATRY ONLY WHAT’S BEST FOR RETAINING THE POWER THAT ALLOWS THEM TO EXTRACT MONEY FROM YOU. As far as I’m concerned the APMA IS CRIMINALLY EXTORTING MONEY AND IS NOT PRIMARILY INTERESTED IN PODIATRIC EVOLUTION. If you are a paying member of the APMA you are a FOOL NOT TO DROP OUT. On one hand they claim to represent you then… Read more »
