Those who have accomplished themselves, working in ortho groups, doing major trauma, doing major reconstruction surgery, generally happy and successful read PM News, if at all, for entertainment. PM News is the butt of their daily joke, the podiatry version of MAD magazine. Are Krause, King, Santi, DeSantis, Sherman, etc. and the rest considered thought leaders beyond hustling to make money ? Well, if you are buying goods and services advertised in PM News, an LER or Presents regular, worship Giulliana with his latest disaster ( Modernized Medicine ), believe Jon Moore and the rest of the how to make money crowd, you are a Rogers one board from heaven minority podiatrist. The profession has moved on from you. Sorry. Those who have done the work, taken legitimate testing and passed, and are successful have a different take. My 12 year-old son injured his right ankle playing soccer. I was called because they took him to the ER. When I got there I was explained to about his ankle injury by the ER PA ( she did a great job) Very Eye opening. I asked where are the Podiatry Residents? I was told that they do not do ER rotations. So welcome to the realistic world we are in.

Well EYE Opening, the podiatric physician is way too busy reconstructing feet and ankles. They are spearheading the care of devastating bunions, hammertoes and shaving corns, or wrestling rough ragged toenails for such banal injures that could go altogether sideways. This isn’t new, it just is.
Toenails can be SHARP EDDY. What would society do without podiatrists to smooth them out? Think of all the limbs they’ve saved.
Maybe they’re were doing toenail call or silly shoe picture sessions?
Most persons have to pretend to “love” or “like” podiatry because it’s all they have. And they of course, need it.

It’s an amusing site; sort of like pod-zombies in suspended animation hamster tethering around the realities many of us presented all those years ago.
