With the Coronavirus Pandemic bearing down Podiatrists are now staring lost income from elective surgeries straight into the face. The fact is there is a large chance that Podiatrists are going to have to close their practices from weeks to months. How are these Podiatrists going to replace this income? Will the Podiatrists have to downsize their practice? Stop paying their employees? Lay off employees? Will Podiatrists lose their jobs due to the Coronavirus? All of these are likely outcomes.
Sure there are somethings Podiatrists might be able to do, like bill for Telemedicine.
But at the end of the day Podiatrists are in a tough spot here trying to recoup income that is most likely going to be lost. And believe me, a lot of income is about to be lost.
The Coronavirus pandemic may be just the TONIC to break through the LIES the APMA AND BLOCK have posted for years. When the offices are empty maybe even the lifer wtf’s may realize the dpm is of little value in todays medical environment. It would be better if they turned the wtf schools into PA schools. At least the graduates would be well trained, needed and have a full license. PODIATRY’S FAILURE IS FINALLY COMING TO FRUITION. WHERE’
